Title Races Tighten as BCPL Heads Into Final Four Matchweeks

Altitude moves within two points of first in the women’s division while Langley and TSS continue their battle atop the men’s table

With just four matchweeks remaining in the regular season, Matchweek 10 delivered several significant results across the BCPL, tightening races at the top of both the men’s and women’s divisions.

On the women’s side, the biggest storyline came in Burnaby FC, where defending champions Altitude FC handed Vancouver Rise FC Academy their first loss of the season with a 2-0 victory. The result not only ended Rise’s unbeaten start to 2026 but also pulled Altitude within two points of first place. With Rise sitting on 27 points and Altitude on 25, the race for the Women’s BCPL title is now firmly back on.

Elsewhere, Langley United and Kamloops United played to a 2-2 draw, while Nanaimo United and Unity FC shared the points in a 1-1 result. TSS Rovers also returned to winning ways, defeating Burnaby FC 1-0 to snap a three-match winless streak and remain in the hunt heading into the final month of the campaign.

The men’s division saw its own dramatic twist at the top of the table.

League leaders Langley United were pushed all the way by Kamloops United before rallying for a 2-1 comeback victory. The three points kept Langley atop the standings with 27 points, though the margin remains slim as the season enters its final stretch.

TSS Rovers continued to apply pressure with a 1-0 victory over Burnaby FC, maintaining second place on 25 points and staying within striking distance of the leaders. The two clubs remain separated by just two points with four matchweeks remaining.

Elsewhere, Vancouver Whitecaps Academy produced one of the standout performances of the weekend with a 4-2 win over Altitude FC, while Nanaimo United climbed into fourth place following a 4-2 victory over Unity FC.

With just four matchweeks left to play, every point is becoming increasingly valuable. The Women’s BCPL title race has narrowed to just two points between the top two clubs, while the Men’s BCPL leaders continue to fend off a determined challenge from TSS Rovers as the race for first place heats up.
